Discover and enjoy Mallorca

Your holiday destination in the Balearic Islands

Mallorca is an idyllic island in the Mediterranean that is well-known for its heavenly beaches, but there are many other places to visit. In Mallorca you will find places such as the Serra de Tramuntana which is full of cycling trails, Palma with it emblematic monuments, such as the cathedral, and all types of locations filled with nature where you can discover unique settings.

Recommendations

We recommend....

Cala Bona

Cala Bona is a population centre belonging to the Son Servera municipality. It has a fishing port and small, picturesque beaches.
In the past, it consisted of small fishermen's houses but, today, it is a peaceful residential area with bars, restaurants and shops, which has not lost its original charm.
Cala Bona is connected to Cala Millor by a very pleasant  seafront promenade.

Playa de Cala Bona

Cala Bona has an inviting beach which is easy to access on foot and is the ideal place for spending a day with the family. Cala Bona beach also has all types of services. It is bordered by a lovely seaside promenade where you can find different restaurants and beach bars where you can enjoy all types of dishes.

It also has parasols, hammocks, changing rooms, showers, WC and first aid.

Diving and snorkelling

On the east coast of Mallorca you will find all sorts of places where you can snorkel. Just a few metres from our hotel you will find Albatross Diving, a diving centre that organises trips and diving courses. Suitable for all ages, you will be able to enjoy diving and snorkelling in coves with the most crystalline waters of Mallorca.

For more information, don't hesitate to ask us, or visit the Albatross Diving website.

Cycling in Mallorca

Cycling is one of the most popular sports in Mallorca, thanks to the good weather on the island and an infinite number of routes that there is to take.

If you are a fan of this sport, Mallorca will delight you. Enjoy the marvellous routes along the roads of our island.

Son Servera Golf Club

Golf is one of the sports you will be able to enjoy in Mallorca. The San Servero Golf Club is situated very close to our hotel. Throughout the year at this magnificent golf club, you can enjoy different tournaments, golf instructors to help you improve your game, or golf academies for the little ones.

For more information, don't hesitate to ask at our reception, or visit the golf club website.

Carme de Cala Bona festival

As is traditional, every 17th of July, the fishermen of Cala Bona celebrate the feast day of their patron saint. Various activities take place in her honour, such as the traditional solemn mass and the procession of the boats. Also, don't miss festivals such as the Habaneras Night and the fireworks.

Cala Millor beach

This beach is almost 2 kilometres long and is the ideal place to relax in Mallorca. With all kinds of services available, you can enjoy the fine sandy beach and its crystalline waters. It is so good that, some years ago, it was awarded a Blue Flag.

You can also enjoy taking part in a large variety of water sports. This beach has various access ramps so that everyone can enjoy this beautiful Mallorcan beach.

Es Ribell beach

Ideal for snorkelling, Es Ribell beach is one of the most popular beaches of Son Servera. This is due to various factors. One of these is the beautiful pine trees  that grow along the sea shore and which create a unique setting. This beach consists of a combination of small pebbles and fine sand.

It is an untouched Mallorcan beach. With over 4 kilomtres of beach, Es Ribell is the perfect place in Mallorca for some rest and relaxation.

Local markets

One of the essential activities that you should not miss out on during your holiday in Mallorca is a vist to some of the traditional markets in the towns around Cala Bona. The markets are full of the island's local produce and traditional handicrafts. We recommend that you visit the market at Son Servera, which takes place every Friday morning, and the market at Cala Millor which takes place on Monday mornings.
